10k kiriban - The Big O

This one goes out to , who I've known online for quite some time now! We originally met via the Paradigm-city.com forums, which are dedicated to the anime The Big O. Her request was "Roger (with Angel somewhere nearby)".

I was going for a film noir-ish look here. Again, not sure if it really worked out the way I wanted it to, but I sure did try. I have approximately seven versions of this saved on my computer in various stages of editing because I just could not seem to get the perspective right! I owe a lot to 's perspective grids, which you can find on her website. I would never have finished if not for those.

I haven't drawn these characters in nearly a year now, so I actually had a lot of trouble with them, particularly Angel, which is odd, because she's my favorite. I spent a lot of time just trying to get the hang of drawing them again. I ended up drawing the whole thing in Photoshop, because I felt like it was to my advantage to edit that way and also, I could use the aforementioned grids. It made me realize that I really want a bigger resolution monitor so I can see more of the picture without having to scroll so much!

I'm so sorry it too me so long to finish! I really do hope it was worth waiting for.
