Five Minutes Too Late

For a contest over at Paradigm City. There are three categories, each involving Dorothy Wayneright, and this is for the category "Dorothy's Dire Situation". The first thing that came to my mind was, what if Roger had been too late in episode 21? As it is, Dorothy got pretty banged up by Alan, but I went a little farther with it. I was originally going to make her damage much worse than this, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. It was hard enough drawing her arm all torn up like that.


This is quite possibly my best fanart piece for this show yet. It's a massive .PSD file, with the most layers I've ever used so far (47, if you're curious). The actual image size is 2400x4500 pixels, 30.9 megabytes, somewhere between 12-20 hours of work (I'm terrible at keeping track of how long a piece takes to complete). My computer took forever to save it. I'm quite proud of the cell-style shading, the background, and the fact that I have both of their full bodies in the shot.
