My love for Big-O has been rekindled now that I discovered the forums at Paradigm City are closed. Go figure.

I... I have no idea what's going on in this picture. But I am fascinated by the relationship between Angel and Alan, so.. yeah.

Grayscale seemed right for this. It's a messy mix of markers, india ink, and colored pencil. Fun!

Big O pretty much revels in the world of grayscale (with occasional drops of red to indicate something i m p o r t a n t . . . ) ^^

Pretty good technique w/ the mixed media; like how you acheived Alan's pinstripes. :nod: The splotchy rubble in the back helps punch out the characters in the front and it's just a lot of neat texture in general going on.

Curious, I just noticed he doesn't have his mask here, yet his eyes remain shrouded in the dark... ^~ It's as if Angel is seeing something about him here we weren't privy to in the show.

ohhh I love it! It's nice to see Big O art again. I was thinking of the series the last few days. It's still one of my favs and Roger Smith's still on my "I'd hit it" list. ^_^

Sad to hear the forums are closing, though. I never went to them since I'm not much of a forum person but it's still sad.

Thanks! I really love using a bunch of different media in one piece.

I tend to leave his mask off when I draw flashback scenes like this. And I guess that's why, 'cause I like to think that Angel is seeing what he was like in the past.

Thanks! :heart: Hahaha, I don't blame you, I'd totally hit him too.

Yeah, I hadn't really been there in about a year, but I frequented it for a while and it made me all nostalgic. There's a new forum being run by one of the former members, though, which is cool. Still, always sad to see something like that go.

ahaha. too funny. Didn't know about the forums. It makes me a bit sad, but I understand. The forums had been excellent palces to visit during the shows airings but has generally dwindled in quality and participation.

It reminds me of when I went to go check on some old Chatrooms I used to haunt back in the early 2000s. They're all dead now. -sob- ;-;

Icky but intensely cool. I heard awhile back that they were going to greenlight season three. Wonder if that will ever happen.
