Happy Holidays

Oh God, my titles are so lame.

Yikes. Apparrently I haven't done anything new since July. o_o Well, that's a lie, I have, it's just all been schoolwork, and I really don't feel like cluttering up this-- what I feel is my more personal art-- with mundane school art.

I figured I ought to do something wintery, since it's mid-December now. So I suppose this is my Christmas card to you all. It's Saria, of course, randomly holding some holly in what appears to be a lively snowstorm. Sort of a sequel to Blue Sky and Sunflowers, I guess. It's markers and white india ink on bristol board. I had fun playing around with this one. I thought I'd had it all nice and finished until I realized that Saria looked awfully flat. I was missing blue! Blue is your friend, people. Especially in a wintery scene. It made the whole thing look ten times better just by adding blue in the shadows.

Making this available as a print mostly for my own benefit, so I can use them as my own Christmas cards.
